Admission row: SC fines 10 dental colleges 10cr each

The Supreme Court has levied a hefty Rs 10 crore penalty on ten private dental colleges in Rajasthan. These institutions illegally admitted students who did not meet the NEET 2016-17 cut-off marks. The court has regularized the degrees of affected students. The collected funds will support welfare institutions. The State of Rajasthan also faces a penalty for its role.
