Punjab Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh urged officials to transform the ‘Har Shukarvaar Dengue Te Vaar’ campaign into a mass movement, emphasising student and teacher involvement in eliminating mosquito breeding sites. He highlighted the state’s strengthened diagnostic infrastructure and successful reduction in dengue cases and deaths, while also addressing zoonotic and water-borne diseases with a ‘One Health’ approach.
