Speaking at the sixth edition of ETHealthWorld’s Healthcare Leaders Summit, Dr. Abhay Bang, Chairman, SEARCH, argued that India cannot achieve universal healthcare by replicating hospital-heavy Western models alone, and must instead empower communities to prevent disease and deliver essential care closer to people’s homes.
