Uganda confirmed on Monday two new cases of Ebola, bringing to seven the total since the virus outbreak was discovered in the east African country on May 15. The World Health Organization (WHO) director-general said on Sunday more than 900 suspected Ebola cases had been identified in the Democratic Republic of Congo, the epicentre of the outbreak, which it declared on May 15.
